GP Principal Travis Soberg Presents at BDwest

GP principal and director of sustainable design Travis Soberg, AIA, LEED AP, will be presenting as part of a panel discussion entitled "Mastering the Challenges and Opportunities of New Build Hotels" at the Boutique Design West (BDwest) hospitality conference in Los Angeles on March 14. Moderator Mary Scoviak, editor-in-chief of Boutique Design, will join Soberg and additional panelists Karen Bowery from The Society and Marisol Fisher of Hyatt Hotels Corporation to discuss complex hotel projects from development to completion, with a focus on design, budget and challenging timelines. 

Soberg's presentation will highlight such projects as the Park Hyatt Guangzhou at R&F Yingkai Square, the Grand Hyatt Chengdu at Chicony Square, the Grand Hyatt Dalian, and the Viceroy Chicago. He will also focus on the recently completed Grand Hyatt Bogotá, a project on which he and Fisher collaborated closely.

The panel discussion is one of many presentations available to attendees of this year's BDwest conference. The event brings together all parties involved in hospitality design—operations, ownership, manufacturing and purchasing—to connect and share knowledge on new and innovative trends in the market.
