2016 SEAOI Awards Honor Four GP Projects

The Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI) held its annual dinner on March 11 to present the 2016 Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards. A total of four GP projects were honored across eight categories, with each project designed in collaboration with a different, talented structural engineering firm.

The winning GP projects and associated engineering firms included:

• Jurors’ Favorite/Most Innovative Structure: 150 North Riverside – Magnusson Klemencic Associates
• Best Renovation/Retrofit Project: LondonHouse Chicago – TGRWA
• Best Project – $50 Million–$150 Million: Northwestern University Ryan Center for the Musical Arts – Thornton Tomasetti
• Award of Merit: Zurich North America Headquarters – Halvorson and Partners/WSP
